Vikki J. Carter is a woman who wears many hats: creator, podcaster, author, educator, fiber artist, grandmother, and as of January 2024 a cancer survivor!

Vikki’s journey back to her creative projects is yet to be determined as she cherishes the gift of life with her family during recovery.

She still resides in the Pacific Northwest with her lovely family, which includes her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and four-legged fur babies.

Her life bursts with vibrancy: from adventures on tour with her husband’s music group, furthering her education, traveling to Africa and Europe, and raising two beautiful daughters, to countless other stories she loves to capture in writing. She and her husband (of 31 incredible years!) share a passion for remodeling their 1920s home in Longview, WA.

Vikki holds a Master’s degree in Library Science & Information Technology from Drexel University and is the creator of The Author’s Librarian. She contributes as a faculty member at Western Governors University in the College of IT and to her author’s community via hosted workshops. She’s proud to be a trusted writing source for many!

When she’s not working, writing, or creating content, Vikki shares her passions for technology, teaching, and research.

She’s often found traveling, finding the next greatest food spot, spending time with her daughters, and walking her pups around her hometown’s scenic Lake Sacajawea.
