Marketing a published book to marketing oneself as an author are topics that often come up on my podcast. This podcast features interviews with best selling authors about how to stay up to date in the world of marketing & sales hosted by the founder of the marketing agency, ARTILLERY - Douglas Burdett. Even though the podcast’s focus on the marketing and sales industry, it is a good listen for authors to gain ideas, confidence, and understanding regarding the competitive world of publishing.

A brilliant podcast that features some of today’s most vibrant creative writers! I cannot describe this podcast (and platform) better than how they describe it themselves: “ 88 Cups of Tea is an online platform and podcast for creative writers who look for guidance in their storytelling journey and connection to a community, fostering year-round conversations around the personal and professional life of a writer.”

If you are an author and you do not already know about Joanna Penn, then I would be shocked. This is the podcast that started everything for me. I stumbled upon her podcast a few years ago, and it helped me believe that “I could do this!” Early on in my podcast starting days, Joanna was even kind enough to personally email me back with some answers to questions that I had about developing a podcast. She is a rock star!
