Victoria J. Jay
Dark, Atmospheric Folkloric Fantasy Author & Keeper of Shadow Letters
Victoria J. Jay writes dark, atmospheric folkloric fantasy about women history called witches, monsters, queens, and crones—and the stories that might have been theirs.
Drawing from fairy tales, folklore, and old legends, her stories explore dangerous magic, complicated love, and the price of becoming the person everyone warned you not to be. Romance may burn at the heart of the story, but love is never the prize for being good, and happily-ever-after is never guaranteed.
You heard the stories from those who won. Now hear the other side of the story.
